This Privacy Policy explains how MODRN RN Collective ("MODRN," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our websites, applications, and related services (the "Platform").
By using the Platform, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect:
- Account data — name, email, phone, password (stored hashed), role (nurse, partner, admin), and profile details you provide.
- License / verification data — license numbers, states, and related verification status needed to confirm nurse eligibility.
- Partner application data — business name, category, contact details, address/service area, website, selected or additional services, discounts, and listing content.
- Payment data — billing identifiers, plan selection, and payment status. Card numbers are processed by Stripe (or another processor); we do not store full card PANs on our servers.
- Usage data — log events, device/browser metadata, IP address, approximate location derived from IP or ZIP, and feature interactions needed for security, support, and product improvement.
- Content you submit — messages to support, reviews, uploads, signatures on agreements, and other materials you choose to provide.
- Location helpers — address or city lookups via mapping/places providers when you search or select a location.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Create and authenticate accounts;
- Verify eligibility and manage memberships;
- Process payments, renewals, invoices, and commissions;
- Operate nurse directories, partner listings, and shop surfaces;
- Send transactional email (verification, security, billing, status);
- Provide in-platform notifications and support;
- Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms; and
- Improve Platform reliability and user experience.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use nurse personal data to enable partner outreach or messaging between nurses and partners.
4. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Platform (hosting, email, payments, maps, analytics limited to Platform operation, security).
- Partners only as needed for approved listing operations (for example aggregated click metrics on tracked outbound links). Partners do not receive nurse community access or private nurse profiles.
- Professional advisors and authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.
- Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer subject to appropriate protections.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session security, preferences, and basic Platform analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit Platform functionality.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, meet legal/accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify data according to our retention practices.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data (including encrypted transport, access controls, and hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the Platform at your own risk subject to applicable law.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update many profile fields in your account settings. For other requests, contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails (if any) using the unsubscribe link. Transactional and security messages related to your account may still be sent.
9. Children
The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can delete it.
10. International users
The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other locations where our providers operate.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The effective date at the top will change when we post updates. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Policy.
